Thanks! I like the idea of floating with anxiety and what you resist persists. Very true!

I find concentrating on a puzzle game on my iPhone helps. Takes my mind off worrying.

Panic attacks sound like they are pretty scary. I can’t imagine what it would be like to legitimately think I was going to die. I have a friend who suffers from these attacks, so I should show him this. Thanks for the information!

Hi there, thanks for the great article. I have a question I’m hoping
you might be able to answer. I was wondering, What is the difference
between panic attacks and anxiety attacks? I definitely get one of the other but I’m unsure which…

I would appreciate any insight you can provide.

    Hi Chloe,
I enjoyed your post on panic attacks.
Describes exactly what I’ve had for the last 3+years now. I initially went to the doctors as I thought I was having a heartattack….in fact so did he at first…after multiple tests he came to the conclusion that it must be server anxiety. I was then put on stetraline which I was on for 2 years and didn’t feel it made much difference so came off it. Even though my panic attacks have not stopped, I now know that I am not going to die which is a bonus but it really affects me from doing things I want to do. For example, I use to love driving…It even use to be my ‘go to’ if I was upset….I could drive for hours confidently. now I panic everytime I drive I think it’s because my first panic attack happened whilst driving and my vision seemed to go a bit funny so am now always nervous that it’s gonna happen again.
Thanks again for sharing, I feel like the awareness of anxiety has really increased since I started suffering from it…hopefully I will find something that will help me soon.
    Best wishes
    Gina
