There are some days when I am on fire.
To-do’s getting ticked off with incredible efficiency.
I’m whipping up healthy meals and drinking my 2 litres of water a day.
I’m happily at inbox-zero.
My Instagram is a thing of beauty.
But then there are other days when I just definitely do not have my sh*t together.
I’ve been known to nap on the sofa at 2pm when I’ve had a book deadline (#procrastination.)
I’ve stayed home when I’ve had tickets to a gig because I couldn’t face the world that day.
And I’ve had days when I’ve been so crazy-busy that I haven’t had a chance to shower or get dressed.
So, yeah, there are definitely days when I just don’t have my sh*t together.
But you know what? I think it’s ok.
With Spring time arriving here in the UK and the first of the blossoms appearing on the trees, I’m reminded that life is all about cycles.
In nature, nothing blooms all the time.
So let’s go easy on ourselves, eh? If you’re going through a tough time right now, remember that Spring will come back around and you will bloom again.
