Do you ever feel like you’re wired to notice the negative things around you?
(Just so you know, if you do, it’s not your fault)
Do you have a tendency towards thinking the worst? Noticing dangers or problems?
Maybe you work in a job where it’s actually advantageous see things with a critical eye and to spot mistakes (lawyers, graphic designers and anything that requires a high attention to details are a great examples).
For those of us experiencing stress or anxiety, it’s as if our brains have been trained to notice these things, because it makes us feel safer to be on high alert for any potential issues or dangers.
However, always noticing the negatives can make us feel bad!
